Welcome to Meolka Art (“Meolka”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of meolka.art and any purchases you make in our shop. By browsing the site, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Who we are

Meolka Art is a design studio by Olha Medvedieva. We create original crochet and amigurumi patterns and related content for makers worldwide.

2. What we sell

Depending on the listing, we may offer:

  • Digital products — PDF crochet / amigurumi patterns and related downloadable files, delivered electronically after payment.
  • Physical products — handmade or related goods that require shipping (when listed as physical).

Each product page describes what is included (file format, skill level, materials notes, photos, and price). Please read the listing carefully before buying.

3. Accounts

Some features (checkout, downloads, order history) require an account. You agree to:

  • provide accurate registration and checkout information;
  • keep your password confidential;
  • be responsible for activity under your account.

We may suspend accounts that appear abusive, fraudulent, or in breach of these Terms.

4. Orders, prices, and payment

Prices are shown on product pages in the currency displayed at checkout. We may change prices or discontinue products at any time; changes do not affect orders already paid.

Placing an order is an offer to purchase. Payment is processed by our payment partner(s). An order becomes confirmed when payment is successfully received. Until then, items may be held temporarily and the order may remain unpaid.

Bank fees, currency conversion, and taxes charged by your payment provider or local authorities are your responsibility unless stated otherwise.

5. Digital products — delivery

Digital patterns are delivered by instant download after payment confirmation:

  • if you checkout with an account, files appear under Downloads and stay available while the product remains in our system;
  • guest checkout: you receive secure download links in the order confirmation email. Those links stay active for 30 days. After they expire, contact us via support or ask us to resend purchase details to your email.
  • you also receive an order confirmation email with order details.

You are responsible for downloading and safely storing your files. Details: Shipping Policy.

6. Pattern licence (what you may and may not do)

When you buy a digital pattern, you purchase a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the files — not ownership of the design or copyright.

You may:

  • download and print the pattern for your own use;
  • make the finished item for yourself or as a gift;
  • sell finished handmade items made by you on a small scale (markets, personal online shop), unless the product page says otherwise;
  • credit Meolka Art as the designer when it is reasonable (for example in listing descriptions).

You may not:

  • share, email, upload, or redistribute the PDF or any pattern files;
  • resell, gift, or exchange the digital files themselves;
  • claim the design as your own or remove copyright notices;
  • use the pattern for mass production, factories, or wholesale manufacturing without our written permission;
  • include our patterns in kits, classes, or paid workshops without written permission.

7. Physical products

Physical items ship to the address you provide at checkout. Processing times, carriers, and any shipping fees are described in our Shipping Policy and on the product page when applicable.

8. Returns and refunds

Because digital files can be downloaded immediately, digital sales are generally final once delivery is available. Physical returns follow our Returns & Refunds Policy. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.

9. Intellectual property

All patterns, photographs, illustrations, branding, text, and site design are owned by Meolka Art or our licensors and protected by copyright and related laws. You may not copy or reuse them except as allowed by these Terms or by law (for example fair quotation for a review).

10. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site: no attempts to break security, scrape content at scale, abuse forms, or interfere with other customers. We may refuse service where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

Patterns are provided for craft and educational use. Finished results depend on materials, tension, and skill. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • the site and products are provided “as is”;
  • we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages;
  • our total liability related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that order.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
